Owned and operated by Rhino Africa, Africa’s leading luxury safari company, Silvan Safari Lodge is conceptualised to redefine the notion of luxury safari by providing guests with exclusive access to an authentic African bush experience paired with exceptional service. The main lodge, suspended in the indigenous treetops, provides majestic panoramic views of the Manyeleti River.

To ensure that Silvan's kitchen upholds the lodge's standard of opulence, we have created a vacancy for a full-time Senior Pastry Chef to work closely with Silvan’s Head Chef. For this role, we are seeking an experienced chef who is flexible and intuitive; who can demonstrate familiarity with the latest pastry and cooking trends; and who possesses an ability to think outside of the box. In addition to a genuine passion for cooking, you must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, a well-groomed manner, confidence in hosting guests, and indisputable attention to detail.
